WRC ARGENTINA: BLOCK QUICKENS THE PACE, ONLY TO BE STOPPED BY MECHANICAL FAILURE

With a solid Leg 1 of WRC Argentina behind them acting as a boost in confidence, Monster World Rally Team’s Ken Block and Alex Gelsomino took to the countryside of Argentina once again on Saturday, sitting in 9th place overall. Having taken the first main day of racing conservatively, Block’s intention was to attack Saturday’s stages with a bit more fervor.
“My plan for today was to charge harder and increase my pace,” said Block. “Unfortunately, bad luck keeps following me this season and we got knocked out. I broke a driveshaft on the second stage of the day, and eventually it stopped the car on SS11, forcing us to retire.”
“Obviously I’m disappointed at not getting to finish out the day, I’ve been loving the roads here in Argentina and to not get to attack some of them like I wanted to sucks. The fans here helped me keep a good mood though. Once I got back to service, I was able to get out with the fans and feed off of their energy. I tried to do some poster signings, but the crowd got so big and wild that the local police came through and shut it down! This fans here are absolutely nuts, I love it.”
For Sunday, Block and Gelsomino find themselves starting the day under SuperRally rules in 15th place overall. Follow the Monster World Rally Team on the final day of WRC Argentina here, on Facebook and on Twitter.

Y'all really need to put a "report spam" and other garbage button on these forums. I am getting sick of these posts like the one above me.
Keep pushing on and helping develop the unbeatable rally car. It sure would be nice to dethrone the Frenchman and his Citroegay.
